Day 1: Departure
Day 2: Tbilisi
Arrive in Tbilisi on previous day or early in the morning. Transfer to the hotel and a rest. Tbilisi sightseeing tour: historic part of Tbilisi is located at the foot of Narikala Fortress. It charms visitors with its romantic, narrow streets, beautiful facades and picturesque sites next to each other, including Metekhi Church, Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral, Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Church and famous sulphur bathhouses. After city tour cooking masterclasses in a small culinary school in the old town. You will learn here how to cook Georgian dumplings Khinkali and starters with walnuts – Pkhali. In the evening visit Puppet Theatre or Folk-Show in the small theatre „Nabadi“. Late dinner in a Georgian restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Telavi (190 km)
Visiting eastern region of Kakheti, noted for its hospitality and wine-making. Short walking or riding tour before reaching the town of Sighnaghi. The town is situated on a slope and is surrounded by defensive wall. Visiting History museum of Sighnaghi. Lunch in a nice restaurant with picturesque view on Alazani Valley. Continue to drive to duke’s estate in Tsinandali. Visiting the house-museum and wine-tasting. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Telavi.
Day 4: Telavi – Gremi – Kvareli – Telavi (85 km)
In the morning visit farmer’s market with fresh vegetables, fruits and spices. Then drive to Alaverdi Cathedral(12th century) and Gremi Fortress (16th century). In Kvareli visit underground tunnels of the winery and have a wine-tasting. Lunch in a farmer’s house with home-made dishes. Before lunch you will get acquainted with Georgian way of bread-baking and see how to make Georgian sweet Chuchkhela. During lunch enjoy wonderful singing of the local ensemble. Drive back to Telavi. Free time. Dinner in Telavi.

Day 5: Telavi – Ananuri – Stepantsminda (185 km)
Today you have to leave wine region and drive to explore mountainous region of Georgia. Drive by 4 WD cars to Georgian Military Highway leading up to the town Stepantsminda. Visit Ananuri fortress (17th century) on the way with view on Jinvali water reservoir. Cross the Cross pass and continue to drive along Terek gorge to the settlement Stepantsminda. From here you will see one of the most popular Georgian Mounts – Kazbek (5047 m). Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Stepantsminda.
Day 6: Stepantsminda – Sno Valley – Kazbegi (70 km)
In the morning walk up (3,5 hrs) to Gergeti Trinity church. Upon arrival back drive through the picturesque Dariali-gorge and Sno valley. Walk in the village. Arrival in the Village of Juta, which in winter season is taken away from modern civilization. Walk towards Chaukhebi Glaciers and have a coffee in a local cafe. Return to Stepantsminda. Dinner in a local family. Overnight in Stepantsminda.
Day 7: Stepantsminda – Mtskheta – Tbilisi (160 km)
Drive to visit the old capital of Georgia – Mtskheta (UNESCO Word Heritage). Christianity in Georgia started from this town in 4th century. Visit Jvari Monastery at the top of a high cliff and enjoy a splendid panoramic view of how two rivers, Aragvi and Mtkvari join each other. Later, visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), spiritual centre of the country. Lunch in a restaurant at the river. After returning back to Tbilisi visit Sulphur bathes and have a relaxing massage. Farewell dinner in a Georgian restaurant with Georgian dances. Overnight in a hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
